Research conducted in Australia, Canada, Europe and the United States nominates long term health risks associated with chlorination byproducts in water to be cancer, birth defects and problems with pregnancy.
A five-step purification process, which involves passing water through an Aqua Optima cartridge contained within the purifier unit, effectively removes heavy metals, sediment and sludge found in water.
"Put simply, we boil away 100 per cent of contaminants - or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) - traditionally found in water," says Mr Hinton.
The founder and managing director of Melbourne-based Purityh2o, Mrs Alice Wiseman, says the company resolves two problems - that of parasite infestation in drinking water and the ingesting of disinfection byproducts.

Why a Stainless Steel Purifier and Travel Flask?

How the Purity Water Purifier Works
After reaching boiling point, the electronics keep the water just at boiling point for approximately 3 minutes.
A unique patented feature which utilises the heat in the water to vaporize organic contaminants without creating over boiling. During this time, bubbles of vapour form and rise to the surface, effectively ensuring the escape of the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
The prolonged heat in the water kills bacteria, viruses and pathogens.
